The service
Contolino is a tool for recording and splitting shared expenses among the members of a pot. Balances and "who owes whom" figures are informational aids — they are not a financial statement, an invoice, or a binding settlement.
The service is provided free of charge and as-is.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your login credentials secure. Keep expense data truthful so balances stay meaningful for everyone in your pot.
Acceptable use
Do not use Contolino for unlawful purposes, upload content you have no right to share, or attempt to disrupt the service or gain unauthorised access to it or to other users' data.
Interoperation with Casalito
Contolino can exchange data with Casalito, a companion household app, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you reached Contolino through Casalito or link pots to your household, that data exchange is part of using the service.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the service, including any reliance on calculated balances. You remain responsible for settling debts between yourselves.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version is always available here. Governing law: Swiss law (place of jurisdiction: Ottikon, Switzerland).
